Letter from an Unknown Woman (Lettre d'une inconnue)

Vienna, 1900. The fifteen-year-old Lisa Berndle falls madly in love with Stefan Brand, a charming concert pianist ten years her senior.. While Stefan barely notices her, Lisa’s love grows into an all-consuming obsession. Years later, after living in another city, she returns to Vienna hoping to see him again, and they share a brief romance. What feels like a dream come true to Lisa is, for Stefan, little more than a passing memory - until a letter draws them back together. ‘Letter from an Unknown Woman’ is based on a book by Stefan Zweig with the same name.
