Cape Farewell (Cap Farewell)

24-year-old Toni is finally allowed to leave prison. She tries to reconnect with her daughter Anna, who was raised by Toni’s mother during her absence. When Toni finds work in her uncle Frank’s restaurant, she is once again seduced by the criminal world of her ex-lover Max. Max is the father of her daughter and the reason she was convicted at the time. It is now up to Toni to stay strong and avoid falling back into old habits.

The Brussels-based Vanja D’Alcantara wrote and directed her third feature film. The international cast includes actors from France, Canada, The Netherlands and Belgium, featuring main character Matteo Simoni, as the criminal ex-boyfriend Max. ‘Cap Farewell’ premiered at the Namur Film Festival.
