Ludovic, a successful architect in his forties, seems to have everything he desires but he longs to find someone to share his life with. He meets Nathalie (played by Master Ruth Becquart), a Flemish single mother with two children. As their relationship develops, Ludovic begins to connect with her children as well. He really loves to be a father! But small and large frustrations begin to pile up, causing Nathalie to become increasingly distant.
Jean-Benoît Ugeux is an actor (‘La Trève’, ‘De Patrick’), theatre director and now a filmmaker. He plays the lead role in his first feature film and also wrote the screenplay. ‘L’âge mûr’ was selected for the São Paulo International Film Festival.
