Les filles du ciel

Héloïse has had enough of the shelter where she is staying and leaves abruptly. Unfortunately, the high school student has nowhere else to go. That is, until she meets Mallorie. She offers to let Héloïse move in with her, in an apartment she shares with two other young women on the seventh floor in a social housing block. There, high above everything, Héloïse finds a new home and a new family. But this ‘sisterhood’ has rules too. The fragile balance between the “sister” seems to be increasingly out of kilter. This feature debut from actress Bérangère McNeese (known from the French ‘HPI’) was selected for Film Festival Namur and won the Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize at the Saint-Jean-de-Luz Film Festival.
