Camille, a promising young promising boxer, lives in a prestigious sports boarding school together with other talented kids his age. He is training intensely for a major European championship, but a fatal accident - which almost killed him - turns his world upside down.

The Belgian director Valery Carnoy makes his debut with an unconventional sports film about growing up, vulnerability, ambition, and friendship. In ‘La danse de renards’, a realistic storyline gains an extra layer of meaning through the allegory of the white foxes in the forest next to the boarding school. Carnoy won two awards at the Cannes Film Festival: European Cinema Label and SACD Coup de Cœur Award.
