Should our films and series aim to reach a broad audience, or is there also room to support high-quality productions made for a more niche viewership? Are these two approaches mutually exclusive? And when it comes to funding, should domestic appeal be the main criterion, or should international potential also play a role? Karla Puttemans (VAF), Bart De Groote (Streamz), Wim Janssen (Head of Fiction Acquisitions – VRT) and Frank Van Passel (director, screenwriter and producer) will kick off the conversation by sharing their personal views on Flemish content strategy.

Moderated by Francesca Vanthielen, the panel will engage in an open dialogue with each other and with the audience.

The debate will be held in Dutch, followed by the presentation of the Ensor Award for Promise of the Year.
