Accreditations

Both nationally and internationally, the Ostend Film Festival (FFO) plays an important role within the film industry. Each year, FFO brings together (inter)national film professionals for a wide range of screenings and industry events. With a festival accreditation, you’ll have access to all film screenings and professional activities.

How to apply for an accreditation?

You can register directly through our platform. Once your application is approved, we’ll email you all the details about the accreditation payment. Immediately afterwards, you will receive a personal code to order tickets.

Accreditations for the Ostend Film Festival 2026 can be requested from November onwards.

Who can apply for an accreditation?

  • Press (journalists, photographers and camera crews) should charge their press card as proof. If one does not have a press card, the journalist should provide three published articles or a recommendation from the editor-in-chief. 
  • Students should charge their student card as proof.
  • Film professionals should prove their professionalism by uploading an up-to-date CV or filmography.
  • Members of The Ensor Academy and/or a recognised professional guild.

Rates

  • Press: Free (full access)
  • Students: Free (industry events only) - You can buy a festivalpass (39,00 EUR) to watch movies unlimited.
  • Professionals: 69,00 EUR
    • Early Bird: 59,00 EUR - until 18/12

How to reserve films?

  1. Open the program.
  2. Select a movie screening of your choice.
  3. Click on 'Buy tickets'.
  4. Select 'Accreditation'.
  5. Enter the code.
  6. Click on 'Next'.
  7. Finalize your reservation.
  8. Enjoy the movie.

General conditions

  • FFO is free to grant or refuse accreditations at its discretion.
  • The accreditation is valid for the duration of the film festival.
  • Journalists, students, film professionals have access to industry-events, press interviews and film screenings with the exception of the opening and closing film (surcharge 9,00 EUR possible), special events, the Ensors' Gala (separate accreditation for press only) and private screenings.
  • An accreditation is strictly personal and non-transferable.
