Amsterdamned II

Thirty-seven years after a gruesome series of murders in Amsterdam’s canals, the perpetrator strikes again. Detective Tara Lee is assigned to the case and must catch the serial killer as quickly as possible. She enlists the help of her retired colleague, Eric Visser, who cracked the mysterious case decades ago. As the city is gripped by fear, danger lurks beneath the water's surface.

This Dutch thriller-horror film is a sequel to the 1988 cult classic ‘Amsterdamned’. Both films were directed by Dick Maas, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music. ‘Amsterdamned II’ is praised for its stylish action, nostalgic references, and the successful reintroduction of a cult classic in a modern and visually impressive guise.
