Los tigres

In the port of Huelva, brother Antonio and sister Estrella work side by side. Antonio as a diver and Estrella as a laborer. They were raised by their father, a professional diver, they are both in their element at sea. However, their relationship is as turbulent as the Spanish waters. When, after years of hard and dangerous work, the duo finds themselves in financial trouble, they see only one solution. Antonio and Estrella use their expertise to steal a cocaine shipment.

This Spanish-French co-production was recently honored with the Best Cinematography Jury Prize and the Acento Award for Best Spanish Direction at the San Sebastián Film Festival. The film was directed by multiple Goya award-winner Alberto Rodríguez.
