L'enfant bélier

Sara and Adam are traveling Europe with their two-year-old daughter, in search of a better life. Their final destination, England, is slowly coming into view, but first they must complete a dangerous journey packed into an overloaded van. Meanwhile, police officer Redouane, who has been on the force for twenty years, goes out at night with his team to search for human traffickers. His patrol comes across a suspicious car that is believed to be transporting refugees. When they attempted to stop the car, everything changes dramatically.

Belgian-Romanian director Marta Bergman is known for her socially engaged work. In ‘L'Enfant Bélier’ she reconstructs the fate of refugees in an honest and poignant way.
