Forty-year-old Edith is a passionate journalist and mother to a mischievous five-year-old boy. She made a conscious decision to become a single mother through an anonymous sperm donor. Now, she is very happy with her son, but the ever-increasing responsibilities of parenthood raise doubts. Is she, alone, enough for her child on her own? When she unexpectedly discovers the identity of the sperm donor, her curiosity gets the better of her. She decides to meet up with the successful game developer under the guise of an interview, but soon finds entangled in her web of lies. This understated Norwegian drama about the dilemmas of modern parenthood premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and competed for the Golden Leopard award.
