Twin brothers Franta and Ondra have lived their entire lives in isolation on a farm in the Czech mountains. They drink, they smoke joints, bicker, and reconcile. This is how life has unfolded for them for years. And despite their identical appearance, it is painfully clear that their desires are miles apart. While Franta dreams of freedom and adventure, Ondra prefers peace and stability. Can they find common ground?

The documentary ‘Better Go Mad in the Wild’, is set against the backdrop of natural beauty. The Czech-Slovak director Miro Remo brings all facets of unconditional brother love, both tender and painful, to the screen. The film premiered at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, where it won the Crystal Globe award.
