As the apotheosis of the festival, two award shows are organised annually: the Jamies – the Flemish online video awards – and the Ensors – the Flemish film and television awards.
Every year, the winners within the LOOK!-, COOP!- and SOON!- competition are announced during Film Festival Ostend (FFO). This year, ‘The Zone of Interest’, ‘Tiger Stripes’ and ‘Toll’ are going home with awards.
Finally, Ostend is getting ready for the first winter edition of the Ostend Film Festival. The first titles for the 14th edition of FFO once again promise a varied programme where audience and film professionals can meet each other again.

'Le bleu du caftan' as winner.
Every year, the Ostend Film Festival rewards various films in diverse competitions. Leave No Traces was the big winner of the international LOOK!-competition. The film received awards for Best Film and Best Production Design. During the LOOK! the cinematography of Frank van den Eeden in Nobody Has To Know and the scenario of Drive My Car were also praised with an award.
Every year FFO brings together (inter)national film professionals in Ostend during various film screenings and industry events.
